IN SICKNESS is an album 4 years in the making. It began like many albums: with the writing, re-writing, and re-re-writing of a fistful of songs, followed by several months of recording (re-recording, and re-re-recording...) until that fist unclenched and out tumbled humble home studio demos with starry eyes. After some touring, which further refined the direction of the songs, this collection started looking less like an awkward song salad and more like an album with a steady theme threaded throughout. So in early 2016, D. CLEA crowd-fundraised and began recording IN SICKNESS in Springfield, MO with Producer Michael Palmquist of Whisper Studio. Eight months later, the album is finished and its thread is eye-of-the-needle ready -should you find a place to stitch it into your world.
